About Grace May

Grace May…design a wonderful logo.

This is Grace’s first job out of college, so she spends all day every day at her desk with her headphones on, being a graphic designer, trying not to ruffle any feathers lest she draw the ire of higher ups. She commutes from her parents’ village basement and has never even heard of taxes.

Q&A

  • What are you looking forward to most about working at Mad Genius?

I look forward to growing creatively while working with others who share the same passion for design!

  • When you’re not working, you’re most likely…

When I'm not designing, I love to go antique shopping and thrifting, or what I like to call "plundering". I’m always on the hunt for cute little knick-knacks or beaten up furniture to revive. I also dabble in the usual "granny hobbies" such as embroidery, sewing and knitting to keep my hands busy. I often treat myself by buying a nail polish or two to add to my extensive collection. One thing I will always put at the top of my priority list is self-care, and painting my nails is included. I love listening to audiobooks, podcasts, and 90s alternative music while I’m busy knitting a beanie or baking a cake. On the weekends I’m more often than not, sleeping in, going shopping and ending the day with some chocolate ice cream! I also occasionally like to take short road trips to local states and visit random hole in the wall places. I love visiting old towns, big cities, and anywhere outdoorsy. If I don’t feel like going out, you will be sure to find me on the couch lounging for hours while watching TikToks or scrolling through Pinterest looking for a new hobby to start.

  • Tell us about a place you visited and something you loved about it.

One of my favorite places I’ve visited is Savannah, Georgia. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and architecture of the historic district. I am also into anything paranormal and spooky, so the fact that the city is haunted is a plus.
